Mallam Annas Mohammed who was a Christian, a Catholic for that matter, became a pastor in the church of Pentecost because he had great and broad knowledge in the bible. At the time of his calling as a pastor, he came across a Mallam in the township of Nynahini a town in the Atwima Nwabeagya District who gave him three quotations to read.

After he was done was done with the quotations, the Mallam was nowhere to be found. He approached his colleague pastors in the church with these three quotations and the responds he got from them was “if you want to go deep into the bible, you will lose your faith. Stand where u are”.

The first quotation was from 1st John 1: 1 which says “in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The second which is from John 3:16 which says “ for God so love the world that he gave His only begotten son that who so ever believes in him would not perish but have everlasting life”, and the third quotation  is also from John 14 : 6 which says “ I am the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the father except through me”.

According to Mallam Annas Mohammad in his Thursday Program  on Mam online called The Believers Hour, quoted, this is what is misleading Christians, the interpretation of the this particular quotation, John 14:6 is what is misleading and blindfolding them.

He also added that, “as a Muslim search not for riches, the prophet Mohammed underwent a lot of trials and temptations to the extent that he and his family had nothing to eat, drink or wear which made him go to the mosque and cried upon the lord”.

Words of encouragement was sent to him through an angle and this what the angle said to him.” From sunrise to sunset, I am vowing to you that, I your Lord and your God  hate you not neither have I left you but the reason for your suffering is that you are going to enjoy in the afterlife”.

He said in addition that, Your Lord God is going to give you a precious gift, therefore, you need to stand firm no matter what happens as a Muslim.

“There is a bible verse that interests me the most. That is 1st timothy 6:6 which says “yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth”.  That was according to him

Nothing we brought to this world and nothing we shall send to the afterlife. So if you have something to eat, drink and wear, be content with it, as he concluded.
