Hajia Adama, the beloved mother of the above speaker passed on on the evening of last Monday, June 14th, 2021 in Yeji, where they hail from, and has since been burried, in accordance with the islamic tradition.
Yeji, Bono East, is the district head of Pru East constituency.
It is a four – hour drive from Kumasi. Yeji is a town in the centre of Ghana and the capital of the Pru East District of the Bono East Region in Ghana. The town is adjacent to Lake Volta. Yeji is connected by a highway to Ejura and Kojokrom. It has a population of about 29,515 based on the 2010 Census.

Yeji and its surroundings form the homeland of a branch of the Chumburu people, who also have a traditional area in the kingdom of Chumburung, at the other side of Lake Volta. They speak the Chumburung language, but it’s dialect is quite different from the one spoken in Chumburung itself. Apart from the Chumburu, Konkombas, Gonjas and others are also natives of Yeji
